Elders call annual congregational meeting; elder/deacon candidates named—The Board of Elders, Christ’s Church at Georgetown, has set the annual congregational meeting to affirm 2012-2014 elder/deacon candidates for Sunday, June 3, during morning services. Candidates for elder: Phil Hentz and Gary Stittsworth. Candidates for deacon: Bill Cape, Jon Champion, Chris Harrison, M.J. Klinker, and Ray McIntosh.
Student Ministry parents meeting · May 20—Student Ministry volunteer leaders and parents will meet TODAY at 12:30pm in the small dining room to discuss upcoming events for teens.
DEADLINE Sunday, May 20! Student Ministry graduate recognition · June 3—2012 high school graduates will be honored in both services on June 3, plus they and their families can participate in a graduate recognition breakfast at 9:45am. To be part of the service, seniors must register, and provide the office with:
- their full name,
- the name of the school from which they are graduating,
- the name of the school they will attend in the fall, or a short description of post-graduation plans,
- and one picture of themselves (with name ID on back) suitable for showing on the overhead screen.

Children’s Pajama Party · June 8—Children whose home rooms on Sunday mornings are the Fire Station and Grocery Store are invited to fun at a pajama party at church Friday, June 8, 6:30-8:30pm. Invitations with necessary details are available in the classrooms. Registration is required, and the deadline to register is Sunday, June 3. Contact Sandy Kupferer for additional information.
Wednesday small groups now on summer break—Wednesday small groups for adults and children’s activities are now on summer break. Groups can meet at church all summer, but must schedule access/room availability in advance through the office, and arrange their own child care. Wednesday small group gatherings resume this fall.
