Overview of Student Ministry
There are seven things we want students to understand and practice daily by the time they leave the Student Ministry—

  • God is the ultimate authority.
  • We need to have healthy friendships.
  • We need to have good moral boundaries.
  • We need to put others first.
  • We need to be spiritually disciplined.
  • We need to have an authentic faith.
  • We need to make wise choices.

To this end, Christ’s Church involves middle and high school teens in activities that help them build spiritual strength and maturity as they worship, grow, and serve together. “Students are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today,” says student minister Kyle Turner. “They not only worship together, they lead worship here. They study the Bible, and share what they’ve learned. They serve in the church and away. They hang out together and have fun.

“Student Ministry can lead teens to experience Jesus for the first time, or in a personal way that they have not known before. Committed volunteer leaders help in this process. I am looking for men and women who have a passion for our students’ spiritual growth to volunteer.”
